In this talk, I will cover three different projects that we are currently working on – garbage burning in Guatemala, climate-smart agriculture to mitigate air pollution and climate change in the Southeastern US, and soil lead contamination in the Westside of Atlanta.

Although the projects may seem quite different, they all have the same underlying theme – work towards environmental justice, while bringing different disciplines together to tackle complex problems related to the Earth, energy, and the environment.
