A new podcast series led by students at the 91�������� Marine Lab aims to introduce listeners to the mysterious, majestic and increasingly threatened oceans and the people who are working to protect it.

Most days, the 3D printer at the Marine Robotics and Remote Sensing (MaRRS) Lab is busy making parts for the lab’s fleet of high-tech research and mapping drones. But for the last few weeks, lead engineer Julian Dale has been using it to make face shields for first responders and healthcare providers.

91�������� Marine Laboratory held its annual open house on Saturday, July 13, 2019. Members of the surrounding community were invited to visit the Beaufort, N.C., campus to learn more about the lab and its ongoing research.
